Making a difference, one step at a time

Baby Ethan Foundation was founded by Janine Freed who was moved by

the birth of her son Ethan. Ethan was born at 27 weeks, weighing 1.06kgs and
spent over 3 months in the Morningside Neonatal ICU (NICU) in June 2010.
Ethan was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and had to undergo a number of
procedures.

Through this experience, Janine decided that she was determined to
assist these sick and premature babies and their parents / legal guardians,
who are admitted to the NICU and who may not have access to basic necessities such as baby blankets, babygrows, and basic toiletries.

The Baby Ethan Foundation has attracted various contributions from individuals
and corporates alike. The basis on which the Foundation works is by
establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and working with various
institutions and organisations to create ongoing, sustainable partnerships.
