AmaBhungane is Southern Africa's pre-eminent non-profit investigative journalism centre.
We dig the dirt to expose wrongdoing and hold power to account. President Zuma and the Guptas? Institutions captured in SA and the region by political and commercial elites? Corporates evading taxes or riding roughshod over communities? We're on it.
We publish via select print and online media and our website, www.amabhungane.co.za. And we plough back. We develop investigative journalism through its best practice, skill transfers and information rights advocacy.
To keep doing this, we need your help. In the public interest.
Any amount, no matter how small, is appreciated. To be an amaB Supporter, donate at least R50 (monthly recurring) or R500 (one-off).
AmaB Supporters receive a certificate and bumper sticker by mail, a subscription to our newsletter with all our latest stories, and invites to amaB town-hall events where experts, newsmakers and the audience interact.
Donations above R500 recurring or R6,000 one-off need vetting and declaring on our website. Donations are tax-deductible, for which section 18A certificates can be issued. For either, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
