Francois Pienaar & Graeme Smith run the Cape Town Marathon

The 17th of September 2017 will see our Founding Chairman Francois Pienaar, together with Graeme Smith (former Proteas Captain), run the full 42.2km Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, as MAD2Run!

The goal is to raise R700 000 to support Stephane Pienaar’s MAD2Row fundraising goal of R2 million for Make A Difference Leadership Foundation, so that we can further identify, support and comprehensively develop scholars with academic and leadership potential into future leaders for South Africa.

On Saturday, 26 August 2017, Stephane (MAD2Row) officially gained the title of the new Concept 2 World record holder for the individual 24-hour row (category: Male under 19 and 75kg+). He completed 267 001m (beating the current record by 1507m). To date he has raised almost R1.3 million for Make A Difference Leadership Foundation. Francois Pienaar & Graeme Smith will support him to reach his goal of R2 million.
