Makana is a special place in the world. We are going to run 56Km and 21Km in our garden on 11th April, 2 mirror the cancelled Cape Town 2 Oceans marathon events. We hope friends of Makana, Grahamstown / Makhanda will sponsor our run.

The civil groups of Makana are working together during this period to raise funds to assist the community.

Our current priorities are to get facemasks to everyone (facemasks 4 Makana) and to feed the most vulnerable, TB, HIV, unemployed, disabled, orphaned and elderly. The priorities may change as situations change.

All money collected will go directly to the community, we are all volunteers, there are no costs.
