A dog with a chain embedded in its neck, puppies swollen from worm infestations, kittens dumped and left to die, Pit bull with a screwdriver in his head and thousands of unwanted litters being born.
These are just some of the callous acts of cruelty our inspectors see on a daily basis. We don’t want to upset or traumatize the public – we need the public to understand the enormity of the problem.
Currently we have 2 inspectors covering an area of 900sq km. If just one thousand individuals or households donate R100 each month we can purchase another vehicle and reach the thousands of animals we don’t get to in time.
We need your help to continue protecting, rescuing and rehabilitating the thousands of animals living in Stellenbosch and surrounds. We appreciate the individuals who are our eyes and ears and report cases of cruelty and neglect – we now need your help to better equip our inspectors so that no animal is left to die alone.
