The Thembalitsha foundation is a registered NPO that means ‘new hope’ in the Xhosa language. We are a diverse team of people who seek to restore hope by developing vulnerable and at-risk persons to a point of self-reliance by providing health care, education and training. We do this through eight projects, one in the Eastern Cape and the remaining seven in the Western Cape. We work to inspire change by offering a hand-up rather than a handout. We aim to ensure sustainability for each of our projects as we work alongside companies, individuals, and government departments. This holistic approach allows us to offer only the best possible care to the people we serve.
