Reach For a Dream Foundation was established in 1988. The Foundation’s core purpose is “fulfilling the dreams of children of any race, color between the ages of 3 and 18 faced with a life-threatening illness.” The vision is to grow the Foundation to enable it to continue giving hope to children fighting critical illnesses regardless of the complexity or the simplicity of the dream. The foundation believes that fulfilling dreams and creating wonderful experience individually or in groups, plays a vital important role in the children’s coping mechanism and hopefully recovery process.

The foundation sustainability is centered around  the programs that are funded solely by corporate and individual donations. With the founding the foundation gives hope to all children and make their dreams come true, through our national projects. For three decades the foundation has positively touched a consecutive estimate of over 3million lives.

We are proud to advise that 91.01 % of the foundation’s beneficiaries are from previously disadvantaged background and are African. The Foundation has been certified with a 100% BB-BEE Socio-Economic Development rating. The foundation is grateful for your commitment in the journey to inspire, give hope, strength, and courage in the lives of our dream children.
