MassBay Community College is a place that changes lives. Dedicated to student learning and achievement, we offer over 70 associate degrees and certificate programs that provide students with the skills training, education, and credentials they need for transfer to accredited bachelor's degree programs or direct entry into high-demand career fields.
The College supports many student-centered initiatives, but is committed to fighting hunger on our campuses by providing access to food through grocery delivery service, free frozen meals, grab-and-go snacks, and other projects. Food insecurity initiatives at MassBay are funded by the generous donations from the community. MassBay will use the funds raised through the Boston Marathon to support on-going food insecurity initiatives on our three campuses.
Founded in 1961, MassBay is one of 15 publicly funded community colleges in Massachusetts and is fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education - NECHE (formerly NEASC) and program-specific national accrediting bodies.
