Funds raised have been used for various projects including rhino dehorning, surveillance equipment, anti-poaching guarding equipment and vehicles used by the anti-poaching unit as well as educating, training and employing people from the local communities. Injured animals have received medical attention and a rhino orphanage received funds for food and medicine too. We also have been involved in building the first rhino ICU in Natal for intensive care treatment before the rhino calves can be relocated to the orphanage. A community water project came alive due to a generous donor who has been cycling with us since the beginning and is now the chairman of our German Charity Organisation.
