Since 1980, the Association for the Protection of Lake Geneva (ASL) has been working to keep the lake and its tributaries as pure as possible. After the fight against phosphates and polluting pipes, other concerns require our vigilance, such as macro-debris, microplastics, micropollutants and invasive species.

The ASL is a Franco-Swiss association, non-profit, apolitical, scientific reference and recognized public utility. Its concrete actions in the field (collection of wild waste, uprooting of invasive plants ...), its awareness campaigns, its intervention programs for the young public (school, extracurricular, camp ...) or the edition of its quarterly review contribute to ensuring a long lasting good ecological status of the lake.

The ASL works every day for the proper functioning of aquatic ecosystems and for Lake Geneva to remain a source of drinking water for future generations.
