In celebration of BTS member Kim Namjoon’s upcoming birthday on the 12th of September, The Justice Desk’s ‘RM for Mbokodo’ fundraiser wants to honour Namjoon by raising vital funds for our Mbokodo Club Project, for girl survivors of rape and gender-based violence!

At the same time, BTS was debuting, The Justice Desk, a human rights organisation in South Africa was formed! On the 6th October 2018, The Justice Desk launched the #MbokodoClub Project which was inspired by RM’s speech at The United Nations.

“No matter who you are, where you’re from, your skin colour, your gender identity; just speak yourself. Find your name and find your voice by speaking yourself.” - Kim Namjoon.

The Justice Desk’s “Mbokodo Club” (The Rock Club) project focuses on offering leadership and empowerment workshops, mental health care and trauma counselling, as well as self-defence and fitness classes to girl survivors of rape and GBV from vulnerable communities. We have been empowering our girls with BTS’s message of speak yourself and love yourself throughout our project!

On the 12th of September, join The Justice Desk and support the “RM for Mbokodo” fundraiser by making a donation.
