Natal Settlers Memorial Homes offers accommodation and holistic care services to 350 mostly needy, elderly people with age related conditions and 40 abandoned children severely affected with cerebral palsy. We offer a lifeline to needy pensioners, however, their contribution only partially covers their actual costs of being accommodated at one of our facilities, resulting in many of the residents being subsidized by Natal Settlers Memorial Homes to a lesser or greater extent.

Some of the common fears of the aged are: loneliness and isolation, the inability to manage their own activities of daily living, loss of independence, declining health, running out of money and strangers caring for them. Natal Settlers recognizes these fears and responds by providing more for its residents than four walls, running water and a meal. For those with disabilities and those in their golden years, it provides a sense of security, of community and most importantly – a loving and caring environment to call Home.
