21 year old, Doylance Vusi Mbungela, born and bred in the rural area of Justicia community, has an absolute passion for making a difference in his community. Doylance works as the Open Learning Academy Training Coordinator at one of the world-class Digital Learning Centres established by The Good Work Foundation (GWF) and supportive partners. The GWF is Non-Profit Organization (NPO) focused on bringing digital learning to the rural areas of the Lowveld & Sabi Sand Wildtuin surroundings. Doylance too has an incredible ability to run extremely long
distances with the utmost of ease! He recently competed in the first ever
community trail run around the Sabi Sand Wildtuin and won the mens 21km race in
an outstanding time of 01:39:36! Then continued to compete in the Skukuza
Half-Marathon in 01:23:46, the Kaapschehoop Marathon in 03:09:26 and the Sanbonani 3 in 1 race (Marathon) in 02:38:38! He is now ready to use his talent to join the Sabi
Sand Rhino Warriors and not only show his support towards a species at risk but
also raise awareness for this local rural communities. He hopes to raise funds
that can be transferred into giving back to passion of making a difference in
people lives as well as to preserve the wildlife within the SSW.
