Sustainability Institute Children and Youth

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world" - Nelson Mandela.

The Sustainability Institute keeps a special focus on local children and youth in our attempt to create a more equitable society that lives in a way that sustains rather than destroys, rehabilitates rather than wastes, the eco-system within which all society is embedded. Local farmworker children and youth have access to a baby centre; creche; Lynedoch Primary School; karate; drama; soccer; courses in organic farming which help provide organic meals for the community as well as nature trails and Saturday clubs.

The youth programme seeks to support and inspire youth to choose positive life paths, and discover their full potential through education, fun and nature in a nurturing and creative environment. Financial contributions help support the various activities, and are also used as bursaries for children to attend school.
