South Shore Health is a not-for-profit, that has relied on the support of our community to fulfill our mission; Your Health. Our Passion. One Community. The South Shore Health Foundation is proud to be an official Partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program for the 2021 Boston Marathon.
All runners on the South Shore Health Boston Marathon Team will have the opportunity to raise funds for either the behavioral health and substance use disorder programs within the Grayken Center for Treatment or the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital. Two inspiring programs delivering hope to thousands of South Shore families.
• The Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health connects with residents through our Bridge Program, Perinatal Behavioral Health Program, and through office-based addiction treatment at South Shore Medical Center in Norwell.
• The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital offers advanced treatments and clinical trials right here on the South Shore.
Over the last nine years, our Boston Marathon team has raised close to $1.4 million for care in our community.
