Our Boston Marathon athletes are putting their bodies and minds to the test, not only enduring months of training, completing a 26.2 mile run on race day but also raising crucial funds! Please support them in their endeavors! Because of their efforts, JAF will be able to provide financial assistance to New England cancer patients and their families during what can be the most stressful and challenging time of their lives.

Every day, patients living with cancer and their families are struggling not only the disease, but the financial stress that often comes with it. Following a cancer diagnosis, many families face a dramatic decrease in household income because one adult must stop working or significantly reduce their hours to care for themselves or a loved one. This economic stress, known as financial toxicity, can force a patient to make dangerous choices - do they skip medication or delay a procedure to buy food or pay a household bill?

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is committed to providing financial assistance for everyday expenses to patients living with cancer – any age, any type of cancer – who are residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
