Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero created the TB12 Foundation to help bring the TB12 method to people who would not otherwise be able to afford it. Since 2015, the TB12 Foundation has helped hundreds of deserving athletes recover from injury, improve longevity, and prevent future injury by providing approximately 8,700 treatment sessions through its Scholarship Program.
The Foundation provides access to innovative health and wellness resources that support preparation, performance and recovery – empowering people who are at-risk due to economic or health-related obstacles to reach their performance and life goals.
We service underprivileged athletes who have suffered an injury impacting their athletic ability (with an emphasis on high school and collegiate), tactical athletes who have been injured or experiencing chronic pain (including military service members & first responders) and individuals who have experienced a tragic event requiring long-term recovery.
Your support will help the Foundation impact MORE people, creating more POSITIVE outcomes for Foundation Clients like Greg, Danny & Jayda.
Greg is a decorated Army veteran who survived years of combat in Iraq only to nearly lose his life in a motorcycle accident back home. He lost his left arm and shoulder and was fortunate to be alive – but was left with years of rehab ahead of him and in chronic pain. He found TB12 in the Fall of 2019 and was able to alleviate the tension and pain he had been constantly feeling as his body worked to compensate for the loss of an upper extremity. For Greg, it was a huge step on the path to taking his life back and regaining confidence.
Danny, a 24-year-old stroke and aneurism survivor came to TB12 with weakness and limited mobility on his left side. He says TB12 Body Coaches had a different attitude compared to any practitioners he’d seen previously. “The TB12 Body Coaches told me ‘the sky’s the limit, and you can do this,’” Danny recalls. “I can play basketball with my friends now and go running. They gave me my life back.”
Jayda is a 10-year-old cancer survivor who has some long-lasting physical limitations as a result of the disease. She had a tumor in her lower back that caused nerve damage in her legs, as well as other physical issues. She has been regularly coming to TB12 for just over a year and has made tremendous progress towards overcoming the odds. Jayda has been through a devastating battle with cancer, and her passion and attitude are infectious and inspiring.
