Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital’s Race for Rehab Team encourages people of all abilities to participate in athletic endeavors in support of our mission. We’re proud to partner with the Boston Athletic Association as an Official Charity of the Boston Marathon.
Since 2005, Race for Rehab teammates have raised more than $7M and the program has grown from one member to over 700 alumni from across the globe. Funds raised by the Race for Rehab Team supports both the President’s Fund and the Spaulding Adaptive Sports Center. The President's Fund is dedicated to addressing the hospital’s most urgent priorities and needs, including innovative enhancements to patient care and groundbreaking research. The Spaulding Adaptive Sports Center helps people who have lost functionality due to illness or injury get back to active, healthy lifestyles through participation in adaptive sports and recreation. These year-round, accessible, in-person and virtual programs engage patients in activities that help them recover in a healthy, inclusive community.
