Isiraele is a South African teenager hailing from the rural community of Bushbuckridge in the Mpumalanga Province. A double orphan, he has been a beneficiary of Children of the Dawn since 2007. When he was 2, he had a bad fall and injured his left hip. The trauma was never properly dealt with, and today at age 14, Isiraele cannot be active anymore, as his left leg does not work. The only solution the public health care system is offering is painkillers. A reputable orthopedic surgeon has now seen him and says he requires a hip replacement as soon as possible. The Dr has agreed to perform the procedure for free and the Prosthesis manufacturers are also donating the Prosthesis. The hospital will give a discounted rate for the care. So we only need R20'000 to make it happen! We appeal to your generosity! Help Isiraele run again, free of pain!
