XTREME FOR KIDS 2017 (& Cape Town Cycle Tour)
In 2017 ten cyclists will be cycling from Johannesburg to Cape Town ending the tour with participation in the Cape Town Cycle Tour, when they will be joined by the Xtreme Day Tour group. The tour will stop at rural schools along the way with the support of the South African Police Services. The theme for 2017 is NO TO BULLYING. The funds raised with the tour will help us to host our Getting Conversation Going project, as well as supply emergency goods to children when they report the crimes against them.

XTREME FOR KIDS 2016 (Cape Tour Cycle Tour)

The tour will stop at schools along the way and together with SAPS and a theater production - will make children aware of child protection. FREEDOM CHALLENGE: Marnitz Nienaber is the xtreme cyclist who cycled the Freedom Challenge for Matla A Bana. He had only 26 days to complete the 2300 km, non-stop, self-navigated mountain bike race starting in Pietermaritzburg KZN and ending in Wellington near Cape Town. Riders are required to be self-sufficient and carry all their own personal belongings with them.
CAMINO XTREME : This year, CEO Monique Strydom, was joined by 3 friends in a 110km walk on the Camino in Spain.They raised awareness and educated people on child abuse in South African and also raised funds.
RUN FOR MORE THAN YOURSELF: Together with radio presenter, Ryan O Connor more than R 30 000 was raised by the runners who took on the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon in aid of MAB.
ULTRADOAçõES: Iago Sampaio Marçal, from Brazil launched his own international awareness and fundraising campaign for MAB with his participation in the Two Oceans Marathon in beautiful Cape Town. He ended up doing an interview on national TV in Brazil and raised more than R 10 000!
XTREME FOR KIDS CYCLE PROJECT : Each year a group of cyclists cycle from Johannesburg to Cape Town, where they are joined by another group of cyclists for the Cape Argus Cycle Race. During the tour, the group stops at rural schools on the way and reach more than 7000 children every year with their protection messages. The South African Police Services join them at each visit and assists where children want to disclose. This group of cyclists have raised more than R 200 000 in the past and they are ready to do it again.
