Children learn through play, but toys are hard to come by in most resource-poor communities!

In order to address this issue, the DO MORE FOUNDATION has created #DoMorePlay wooden toy kits. The kits are made by differently-abled youth in Worcester and Hammarsdale (providing them with skills and meaningful work) with wood donated by CHEP.

These high-quality, specially designed toys are good for cognitive development in young children.

Sponsoring these kits will not only support differently-abled youth and give early childhood development practitioners the tools they need to engage young minds, but you will also put a smile on these children's faces this holiday season. For R1250 you can provide one “play kit” for an ECD Centre that reaches an average of 50 young children every day. You can also donate your own amount towards the kit!
