Safe Hands Animal Rescue works in disadvantaged communities to rescue, rehabilitate and provide medical assistance to abandoned, neglected, and abused animals in need.
We also run several sterilisation drives each year in lower income communities aimed at reducing the number of unwanted litters and avoid cases of neglect, abandonment and roadside pet selling.
SHARF works closely with the community to educate pet owners and particularly the children on basic animal care.
Donations go towards rescue & rehabilitation, re-homing, sterilisations, emergency & general veterinary treatments, and basic pet care.
SHARF does not receive government assistance and relies entirely on the goodwill of members of the public to raise funds.
