Zaman International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports marginalized women and children locally and internationally. Founded in 1996, the organization aims to address the basic needs and empowerment of these groups. Zaman International's goal is to break the cycle of generational poverty by stabilizing female heads of household.

Join the Zaman Detroit Run Team this fall as they continue to help fundraise for Zaman and its mission of providing hope to marginalized women and children throughout SE Michigan with basic needs assistance including food, shelter, clothing, and emergency service.

Zaman then continues to assist with skills training helping to give women the abilities needed to join the workforce and support their families. Additionally, Zaman offers the dignity of infant burial services for families who lose an infant or toddler and can not afford a proper burial.

A $50 donation supplies a family of four with a week's worth of nutritious, culturally-sensitive food staples.
