Established in 2010, Lovin’ Spoonfuls is New England’s largest food recovery organization. Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded. We work to efficiently deliver this food directly to the community organizations and programs where it can have the greatest impact. We are committed to addressing the health, environmental, and economic impact that wasted food has on our community. 

Each week, Spoonfuls makes scheduled pick-ups to 90+ food vendors and delivers, same day, to 200+ nonprofits serving people facing food insecurity - from pantries and meal programs, to shelters, senior centers, crisis and recovery programs, afterschool programs, and more. To date, we have recovered and distributed more than 30 million pounds of food - enough for 24 million meals - in Greater Boston, MetroWest, Worcester County, and Hampden County!
