In the heart of Zonnbloem, formally known as District Six, Zonnebloem Girls' Primary services many students from various underprivilege townships in the Mother City. We have been doing this for 163 years!

With over a century of rich history known for shaping young women, our school still stands. However with time and nature comes decay and we need to reinforce and repair this small but powerful institution. 

With Covid limiting our usual fundraising activities and the fact that our demographic of learners are coming from low income households, we are financially struggling to keep up with the restoration of our building. What set us back even more were an increase of security breaches. 

Needless to say our priorities firstly include urgent security upgrade and then crucial maintenance repairs! 

We would love to take you on this journey with us and join hands with your help and support!

- Fixing and painting classroom walls

- Upgrading learners bathrooms (plumbing and paint)

- Upgrade teacher technology resources 

   ( ie. projectors and speakers for every classroom)
