At Life Child, we believe that every child, boy or girl, should have the opportunity to get a quality education so everyone can have a chance to have a better future. Education is the key to shaping healthy mindsets and providing the tools to create a purposeful life.
Life Child has two separate primary schools in Mozambique, the Peace School and a school at our Okalawo Children’s Village. We are currently educating and feeding 296 children from Grades 1-6 at the Peace School.
These children come from highly vulnerable situations and get immense support from the school for them and their families. Just to be able to have the opportunity to attend a school is a blessing. However, we need solid and secure structures to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
Do you want to build into the education of the next generation?
Partner with us to build two more classrooms to accommodate 100 of our Grades 5 and 6 students and all our future students.
A temporary classroom was previously being used; however, it was unfortunately destroyed by Cyclone Freddy at the beginning of the year.
Excitingly, construction has already begun due to the wonderful donations from some of our partners. But we still need to raise a further $29,162.00 (approx. R531,763.00) to reach our target and complete the classrooms.
