Lazarus House Ministries is proud to be an official Partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program and to have our compassionate and determined team of runners supporting our mission. Since opening the doors as an emergency homeless shelter in 1983, Lazarus House has been providing a wide range of programs and services to support, stabilize and empower families and individuals struggling with food insecurity, poverty and homelessness. Lazarus House is filled with caring staff whose compassion and support give strength, healing and hope to everyone who come through its doors in need of help. We offer courageous women, men, and children access to life-saving services in the areas of food, shelter, clothing, advocacy and community resources. Today, Lazarus House serves over 25,000 households annually.
