Kesem's camping experience - as well as Kesem’s year-round support services - have a lasting impact on children by providing them a peer-support network that understands their unique needs, builds confidence and strengthens their communication skills. In 2018, Camp Kesem served over 8,000 children coast-to-coast, all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

Camp Kesem at UT-Austin was founded in 2011, and since then we have grown to become one of the most successful chapters across the country. In summer 2022, we served 240 children affected by a parent's cancer. In order to do so, we fundraised over $140,000 and empowered over 200 student members from the University of Texas to aid us in our goal to ensure that no child affected by a parent's cancer is ever alone.
