Green Coast is a national award system that encourages civil society to partner with local government and other relevant stakeholders in order to sustainably co-manage coastal sites. Green Coast provides a structure and recognition for the protection of sensitive habitats, species and cultural heritage through monitoring, environmental education and sustainable management.
