This year marks 30 years since the first EuroPride, and this year's event in Belgrade, Serbia will be one of the most important in EuroPride's history.

By all international standards, Serbia has a long way to go to achieve equality for LGBTI+ people. EuroPride 2022 is an opportunity to show that LGBTI+ people are valued and welcomed, and can contribute to society in Serbia and the wider Western Balkan region. The political situation in Serbia means that support from sponsors is more difficult than in most other European nations. So organisers need to raise funds from individuals and other supporters.
