In the blistering heat of the South African summer, in Margate, South Africa, you will find an informal settlement of Masinenege, where 70 toddlers, aged 2 to 5years old,are learning their early childhood development program, in a broken down cabin due to the mobile clinic regularly using their main facilities
The number of our intake in 2023 has exploded from 40 to 70 toddlers, with 15 babies still in nappies.
Our province of Kwazulu Natal experiences inclemental weather throughout our summer months, often leaving our children without a safe place to learn and play when the weather is extreme.
We are appealing to every business and to organisations,to consider donating towards this worthy campaign of building a weather proof and safe cabin to support our mandate to provide the growing number of children with the basic right to education in a safe environment.
