Family Promise Metrowest offers a comprehensive, community response to families that are facing homelessness through four programs that address a spectrum of housing and stabilization needs: our Shelter program offers temporary housing to families with children that have lost their home; the SAIL (transitional) program supports families that graduate from our shelter for one year to ensure their successful transition back into community housing; our LIFE (prevention) program helps families facing eviction or shelter entry remain in safe housing; and our Steps to Success program provides educational and career-building assistance to help families increase their income and create stable careers. By providing encouragement, guidance, and the resources to reach their goals, we help motivated, hard-working families move out of poverty and into sustainable homes. As of September 2022, our programs have supported 382 families including 679 children that were facing homelessness since our founding in 2008.
