The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. The AFSP Central Texas Chapter serves over 30 counties in Central Texas, bringing together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in their communities.

We are excited to welcome our 2024 Team AFSP runners to the 33rd Annual Austin Marathon to raise funds for prevention programs, scientific research, public education, advocacy and survivor support. Every runner who raises $500 for Team AFSP by January 19th will earn a free entry into the Austin Marathon at the distance of your choice: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or 5K.

Not a runner but still want to help? We need volunteers! If you want to volunteer with us on marathon day, sign-up here. We'll be helping at the aid station on mile 22.
