Our core mission is to equip people with the tools to value and protect nature. We train field rangers and protected area managers across southern Africa. Through our youth access programmes, we create opportunities to develop new generations of wildlife guardians.
All this work to equip, educate, and train over 18 000 people from 26 countries in Africa is made possible only by the support of donors, as we receive no government subsidies.
We also know that by creating opportunities for disadvantaged people to benefit from the wildlife economy, we will encourage more people to protect our natural resources.
Graduates of the College leave with qualifications that generate an income while conserving wildlife, and every graduate becomes a voice for nature and community.
We are also the home base of one of the most powerful counter-poaching operatives in the Kruger Park region. Our multifaceted approach to counter-poaching involves training field rangers to work with specialised K9 and aerial units. The results of this combined four-tiered approach have increased poacher arrests tenfold.
Your support directly contributes to our conservation training and counter poaching work and we could not do it without you. Thank you!
