We are a registered NPO that operates throughout South Africa to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome sighthounds. Our dogs are primarily cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found, although they may be placed in high quality boarding kennels briefly while healthcare is undertaken and suitable foster or permanent homes are secured. When a dog is adopted from SRSA you can rest assured that they have been thoroughly checked for any health issues and treated if necessary, sterilized, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. In addition, because of the foster home approach, we have detailed knowledge of the characters, temperaments and special needs of all our dogs. While in foster care the dogs are rehabilitated and socialized and they learn how to live in a normal home environment. This ensures that everything possible has been done to make sure that they are ready to become a much-loved and happy part of the family.
