Senecio is committed to improving the lives and circumstances of people with physical disabilities in underprivileged, under-serviced areas through therapeutic intervention, lobbying and establishing strategic partnerships. - Ukunakekela (Xhosa for "We care")
Occupational, physio and speech therapists provide therapy and other support are provided to children at special care centres for people with special needs in the Western Cape. Care givers are trained to care in a therapeutically correct way.
- Siyafikelela (To reach the destination)
This programme is aimed at providing services to people with physical disabilities who are not enrolled at care centres or schools. Intervention is done in the communities - either at their homes, or at a central venue close to them.
