I am fundraising for the purchase and planting of 80 trees as part of Greenpop's reforestation project in Knysna. Help plant indigenous trees in one of the following ways:
- DONATE A TREE: Each tree costs R120
- DONATE YOUR OWN CHOSEN AMOUNT: Every rand counts!
- BUY A TREE PRINT: Tree prints and their prices are shared under updates (https://www.givengain.com/ap/knysnatreeprints/upda...).
Send me your delivery details (and which artwork you're buying) to firstname.lastname@example.org if you're buying a tree print!
Until 1 May 2018 any other artworks I sell also contribute 10-50% of the sale price towards buying trees.
And that's not all... Three lucky donors will be selected in a lucky draw to win one of my artworks: https://www.givengain.com/ap/knysnatreeprints/upda...

This project is important to me for many reasons. Planting trees helps combat climate change and supports biodiversity. And planting trees in Knysna after the devastating fires that ravaged the town and surrounding forests are close to my heart. I was part of the Knysna Arts Festival in February, and a new member of the Knysna Art Society - this town is truly a cultural hub for the Garden Route in terms of art, music and festivals. It's also a natural haven, with Pledge Nature Reserve as the heart of the town; the Knysna forests home to the Knysna Loerie and other birds, bush buck, rooikat, leopards, amphibians, insects, fungi, the last Knysna Elephant and countless other species; and the Knysna Estuary home to the endangered, endemic Knysna seahorse. It's a biodiversity hotspot and very important to preserve, support and regrow!
