With the most glorious autumn weather all around Magic Mountain is gearing up to join Greenpop’s Reforestfest in Platbos again. This exciting festival has seen over 3000 indigenous trees being planted in the southern-most forest of Africa over the past two years. Platbos, a relic forest with trees of over 1000 years of age, forms part of one of the rare and endangered ecosystems of the Western Cape. The annual Reforest Fest is an attempt to protect and grow the ancient forest through a massive reforestation festival - we hear great music, eat delicious food, and share a weekend of great energy & spirit in Platbos Forest and of course where we plant trees. Lots of them! The Magic Mountain team has gathered friends, booked our tickets and packed tents, gum boots and shovels. Now all we need are some trees to plant. This is where you come in. We kindly ask clients, suppliers, friends and family members to help us raise 30 trees, which we will plant on your behalf at Platbos.
