Swim for MS - Sanlam Cape Mile 2017

Date: 19 February 2017

Venue: Eikenhof Dam, Grabouw Country Club

Distances: Main Event: 1 Mile (1.6 Km) Lite Event: 500m

As part of our continuous drive to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, we are officially taking part in the Sanlam Cape Mile.

The Cape Mile is a one mile (1.6km) open water swimming race that takes place at the Grabouw Country Club’s Eikenhof Dam, giving swimmers the chance to participate in a safe, mass swim. The dark, pristine waters of the Eikenhof Dam provide the perfect setting for an event which appeals to the curious and competent.

We are asking our swimmers to pledge to raise R500 to MSSA (get donations from friends, family, colleagues …. If you would like advice on fundraising, please contact claudiadieckmann@gamil.com)

WHY FUNDRAISE FOR MS (despite the obvious):

· R500 or more; submit (through the "DONATE" button) the amount before 14 February 2017; each R500 raised receives an entry into our lucky draw

· Any amount of money raised will be appreciated, but R500 will get you entry into our lucky draw

Lucky Draw Prize: R1000 Woolworths voucher.

A prize will also be awarded to the person that raises the most money.

Secure your place on the Swim for MS team at the Sanlam Cape Mile. Do the right thing and have fun doing it.
