I finished! Just wanted to let you, my supporters, know. Yet to have my time confirmed-somewhere between 4hr 30-45mins which means an ave of 23km/h. It was a most beautiful day for cycling, cool gentle breeze sunny day with high cloud. Also, I'm surprised to say, I enjoyed it. An amazing event to be part of. We'll, all training is done. I've been fine tuning my bike today, pinning my race number JJ22063 to my top. Found the holding "pen" where I'm riding from. Pasta tonight and a long sleep...

Training.
My daily cycle to work and home gives me ~16km experience but I am dabbling in the shallows of proper training. For now I plan to join the 6 U-turn practice rides put on between 11th Dec & the race date.
