CANSA relies on donors, sponsors and its own fundraising initiatives for funding. Membership of CANSA is open to anyone wanting to make a contribution to the invaluable work that we do in all communities in South Africa.
Current ordinary membership of CANSA is R50 per person per annum, or R500 for life membership. In view of CANSA’s recently completed repositioning and restructuring, Membership and all that it entails, is currently under review. To this end we will introduce an exciting and comprehensive plan with updated benefits and incentives for members in the very near future.
Being a member will enable you to have your say in the decision-making structures of the organisation such as being on volunteer committees and by being able to attend, send a proxy or vote in CANSA’s National and
Provincial Annual General Meetings. Current membership privileges such as the bi-annual mailing of our CANSA News newsletter that contains important news and views about cancer and CANSA will be extended,
Provincial offices recruit their own members locally so as to enable personal interaction with CANSA and its dedicated teams. Our members form an important part of our team in the fight against cancer and we look forward to welcoming you to our special team of CANSA members.
