The CMDA’s focus is to locate teenagers within the Province of Mpumalanga, South Africa, especially those living in the formerly disadvantaged areas, with talent and interest in music and the performing arts and to actively develop their interest by exposing them to well know musicians, by providing venues to practice and free access to equipment and music, drama and vocal teachers.
The program aims to engage 1,000 aspirant musicians by way of an affordable membership to the CMDA with at least 80% from previously disadvantaged areas and backgrounds by establishing music hubs within their local communities.
Casterbridge Music Development Academy (CMDA) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation, Registration Number: 083-298-NPO and a Public Benefit Organisation.
