The need for a cow protection and conservation model
Apr 26, 2012
The Rigumaho goal is to promote innovations and opportunities that will create self-sufficiency among the cow keeping peoples of the cattle corridor of East Africa for sustainable conservancy of our world.WHAT WE DO
We create great innovations (programs): Cow Protection and Conservation Centers in the cattle corridor of East Africa; building movements, like Conserving Our World, Cow Protection and Conservation Upping, and Expedition of the cattle corridor and agritourism program, which gives communities tools to take control of their livelihoods while conserving nature.WHAT WE STRIVE FOR
As a non-profit organization, we define success in terms of building communities and enriching the lives of all the creatures in nature instead of benefiting shareholders. We believe in the power and potential of the balanced Ecosystem and want to see it thrive for everyone, everywhere.WHO WE WORK WITH
Building a better Ecosystem for the world is an ambitious goal, but we believe that it is possible when people who share our passion get involved. Environmentalists, philanthropists, policy managers, cattle keepers, farmers, agriculturists, researchers, anthropologists, sociologists, artists, writers, spiritualists, tourists, students, grandparents—anyone who cares about conservation of our world can help make the Rigumaho even better. Please do something, because together we can help make our planet a better place.
