The national department of Cooperative governance and Traditional Affairs is the latest to partner with Hillside Digital Trust, Siyakhona Alexandra and the City of Johannesburg in the Siyakhona Initiative.
The Siyakhona Initiative is a public private partnership between city departments, the community and its stakeholders to implement comprehensive and integrated approaches to service delivery in South Africa's Townships.
The initiative was sparked by Siyakhona Alexandra's call to action film calling government to listen to and join and support the community to improve their health and environment.
