New bronze sculpture released for 2012
Prominent UK sculptor David Mayer has released a new sculpture to raise funds and awareness of the rapid decline of the African Rhino. aid David.
To date (Dec 2011) 405 Rhinos have been poached throughout Africa and this trend does not seem to be slowing down.
"I have been fortunate enough to see Rhino many times whilst driving in Africa, but the parks are being hit hard by poachers, especially Kruger, even in the past week, 6 Rhino have died in the South of the Park." said David Mayer.
The bronze sculpture, cast in the UK, was created from first hand reference collected in David’s sketchbooks whilst in The Kruger National Park.
Priced at £1,500 GBP in an edition of 15. No 1/15 is cast and ready to ship.
This includes free delivery to the British Isles, excluding Ireland (free delivery on this piece is to the end of January only). Destinations outside of the Mainland UK will be charged shipping, so please get in touch for quote.
From each bronze Rhino sold he will be donating 25% to the SANParks Honorary Rangers reg.086-703-NPO to help in the fight against Rhino Poaching in South Africa.
