Wild Walk 2011 is a bold and challenging nationwide event initiated by Volunteer Africa 32 South (VA32) who designed and implemented the world’s first Fair Trade Certified volunteering project, The Wild Coast Schools Project.
Between 3rd March 2011 and 31st March 2011 a core team from VA32 will be walking the 380km stretch of the Wild Coast, which represents one of the least developed regions in the country and makes up the coastal belt of the former Transkei Homeland.
Wild Walk 2011 aims to raise awareness and funds to support VA32’s existing projects and future schemes that will directly improve educational standards and facilities for the learners and communities of the Wild Coast.
We are inviting special interest groups, individuals and corporate groups alike to show support for this event through participation, sponsorship or gifts in kind.
The Friends of Chintsa is proud to support Wild Walk 2011.
