Raise Funds Online!

We need your help to raise R400 000 online during our Shavathon 2012 event in order to fund CANSA’s unique, integrated service to the public, which includes cancer research, prevention & early detection campaigns and support to all affected by cancer.

How do I get started?

Creating your fundraising page on behalf of CANSA Shavathon is quick and easy. All you need is an email address or a Facebook account!

Ready? Click on the grey Create Your Fundraising Page button on the right or the green Become an Activist button above.

• Got a Facebook account? Do a one-click signup – click on the Sign up or log in via Facebook button, then on Allow on the standard permission page – this enables your Facebook pic and name to be automatically added to your fundraising page (don’t worry, you can change this later). You will also be able to post updates about your project to Facebook in future.
• No Facebook account? Register and create your fundraising project here. If required, use the refresh icon next to the Captcha box to view a new set of words.
• When signed up and logged in, simply complete the project fields and you’re done!
• Remember to spread the word about your fundraising project via email, Facebook and Twitter!
