My friend, Paula Wilson, asked if I would like to join her in running the Great Ethiopian Run 2012 in aid of the charity she supports called ORBIS, www.orbis.org.za . ORBIS is a global sight saving NGO working to prevent avoidable blindness world wide. So I feel priveledged that I am able to go with her and raise money for this worthy cause.
On the 25th November 2012 I will be joining over 36 000 people to particiapate in Africa's biggest road race. The race is only 10km but it is going to be a tough 10km as we will be running 2500km above sea level.
My biggest challenge is to raise R10 000 for ORBIS which will make my run worth every stride I do.
